New assemblies spatially regulate the inside of the block, thus creating a basis to translate it from inactive to an active form of the urban environment. Three key points become a recognizable link in the chain of sequences in the line of movement which, in the foreground connects important parts of the city center - Knez Mihajlova street and Obilicev Venac, along with connecting routes Jaksiceva and Zmaj Jovina streets.

New buildings with its function and morphology establish places where, so far, there was no relevant content. Gallery of Academy of Sciences occupies central position, continued by a row of shops which attract large number of visitors. Apart - hotel activates extending inland of Spasić foundation, while building the Academy expands the gravitational field, linking contents of Jaksiceva street with access and focal spaces of the block.

New assemblies are integrated into the available dimensions, relying on the gables of the existing buildings. In this way, an "inner block facade" or "architectural face" of pedestrian route is created through the block center. New objects represent seperated wholes at different points in the interior of the block. The interior of the block (parterre) gets a common denominator that indicates a connection between the assemblies. The visual aspect of that relationship becomes a sign post through space.
